Muses Orchestra is an exclusively women's orchestra.
The fourteen exceptional musicians who compose it perform mainly in string orchestras, they are members of the best orchestras in France, for example Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Opéra de Paris, Orchestre de la Garde Républicaine etc. However, they meet regularly to give concerts of chamber music in variable geometry, but also in chamber orchestra with the addition of wind instruments.
Muses Orchestra's programs begin with uplifting classical pieces with an energetic character which then lead to an accompaniment part for intense and charming pieces proposed by a renowned soloist and finally, a more modern repertoire played on electric instruments.
This set of women is representative of the #girlpower which is expressed in our contemporary society, in the same movement as the emergence of new technologies.
Camille Saint-Saëns, who wrote the cantata "Le Feu Céleste" for the 1900 Universal Exhibition in Paris, as a metaphor for the arrival of domestic electricity, is one of their favorite composers because of his philosophy " Art and Science ". Muses Orchestra systematically interprets Camille Saint-Saëns' "Danse Macabre" in homage to this visionary artist.
Muses Orchestra welcomes various collaborations and is highly qualified to integrate the repertoires offered by the concert organizers with whom it works internationally.
